I started my career as a developer in various startups. Coming from a Computer Engineering background, this was a natural fit. What didn't fit was my urge to connect the final results our teams were trying to achieve to the overall business strategy. Many times I was told that it wasn't my job or that it wasn't worth spending time on it.
Over the years, I continued to see a growing gap between an organization's strategy and the projects that were intended to realize it. The plans on paper never came to be, and I asked why? How were companies letting these opportunities slip through their fingers?
As my journey continued across multiple industries (Financial Services, Energy, Technology, Government, Supply Chain, Agri-chemical), I became obsessed with partnering with organizations to solve their execution problem and deliver value. I saw great purpose in tying a company's strategic objectives to project value delivery and working with people, not "managing" people, as an effective problem-solving tool to achieve success. I learned that delivering results is more than just being on time and on budget - it needed to be tied to business value, coordinated action, understanding, and the empowerment of people to grow and perform.
I've modeled this over dozens of projects for clients where I hope to continue helping organizations, teams, and people exceed expectations and help set their course for continued success.
